Direct Ocean 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Condo Spectacular Ocean View

Direct Oceanfront Condo has floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, which offers an impressive view of the ocean all day and night! Wake up and eat breakfast while watching the waves hit the shore. The condo is on the second floor of a 6-story building. It is a well-appointed two bedroom and two bath that sleeps a maximum of six people. Also, it is like coming into your own home with linens and towels and more. You just need your toothbrush, sunscreen, and swimsuit. The kitchen has granite countertops, a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, oven with stove, dishwasher, microwave and is fully equipped to whip up a meal or make a frozen cocktail. Even on vacation, it is nice to have a washer and dryer inside your condo. The living room has plenty of seating with one electric lift recliner chair, which has a built-in massage feature. There is a large flat screen TV. It is our pleasure to provide you with the cleanest condo in town.

The balcony view of the ocean was spectacular! The pool area was very well kept and very nice. We were close to a grocery store and restaurants which was convenient. Overall, we had a great stay!

Ocean Views & Family Fun: The Perfect NSB Condo

Our vacation stay at The Pelican was nothing short of spectacular! We have only ever stayed at another complex in NSB and were timid about staying on the “driving” section. It was MUCH calmer than I had expected and our children loved visiting the Ice Queen truck everyday on the beach. The condo had everything you could possibly need — direct ocean view overlooking the pool area, comfy beds, beach chairs, and a Keurig. The pool area is spacious and well-kept with plenty of seating and grills are available to use as well. I love the security of the complex — codes to get into pool area and back to the pool area from the beach. The Pelican complex is close to everything in NSB — a couple of minutes to Publix, surf shops, Flagler Ave, and Riverside Park. We will definitely be back!

Annual Family & Friends Beach Week

We had a total of 11 units and it was the first time we had stayed at The Pelican. We enjoyed the complex (grills were great) and the more quiet end of the beach.

Wonderful

I usually check the reviews to see positives and negatives so unfortunately I won’t be super helpful with that because I have no negatives to list. It’s location was perfect, beautiful view of the pool and ocean, so many great restaurants around, clean and spacious, and the property manager was very quick to reply to any messages or accommodations we requested. I would love to rent again in the future! Thanks for the great stay!

Absolutely Wonderful

This was our first time staying at The Pelican but will not be our last. Impeccably maintained property for its age and the location cannot be beat. This condo was perfect for our stay. The only feature that was odd was the master bedroom layout given the bathroom was open; there was no separation in the space other than a bamboo divider. No big deal, but worth mentioning. We would absolutely book again. The property manager has top-level communication skills. She was incredibly helpful and responsive. 5-stars all-around!

As advertised. Pools are nice. Good location.

The location of this condo is good, and the pools are very nice (both are cleaned by a pool company every day). The unit itself is nice, older but a bit outdated. The bed had a very firm mattress so if you like that you are in luck! The TV in the main room does not get the cable channels, so that was odd and we had to sit in the entry room (which had 2 small love seats) to watch cable channels (there was no instructions on how to use the main room TV which would have been a help, if the cable channels were available but we couldn’t figure out how to find them). The kitchen could use a new coffee pot, or better yet a Keurig. This one was old, and you could taste the hard mineral deposits in the coffee. It could also use a nice toaster. There was an old toaster oven that didn’t work very well. The AC unit kept going up to 78 degrees, so we had to constantly turn it down as it got hot and stuffy in there (again, instructions on how to use it may help if we somehow had to get it stop automatically going back up to 78). The bathroom had older towels, and the white bed linens had small black stains on them. When we were there, 4th of July weekend, the parking lot was packed and we had to park in the overflow grass lots on the other side of the parking lots, which was an inconvenience. For the price we paid to stay a week, I was disappointed that we didn’t have a parking spot. I did see a lot of cars in the lot that did not have the proper vehicle ID tag, so I don’t think they policed the lot very good. There is construction going on as well, so lack of parking spaces due to workers trucks. Also, after the weekend the construction workers park in the lot so they take up a good deal of spaces as well. Again, for what we paid I feel the construction workers should park off site so paying guests could park in the lot.

New Smyrna 2021

This is our fourth trip to New Smyrna and third trip to the Pelican. We love the Pelican and our stay at A 204 was comfortable. Plenty of dishwater and utensils. Still stymied on how to turn off the overhead fan in the master, but, other than that, our party of four adults was worry-free for the week! Only minor blip was that the gate to the ocean was not locked and it appeared that beachgoers were taking advantage of using the pool. We did notice a service person attempting to fix it, but, it remained unlocked during our visit.

Pellican the Great

The two pools are super maintained EACH day. The view from almost every room is special. So close to Flagler Ave. and the best restaurants.
