"This small, quaint house is located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to many places like downtown Westerly, the beaches, etc. The house is exactly what others have reviewed: small cottage with outdated furniture and appliances. If you don't mind feeling like you are staying in your grandparents house (which we didn't) it's a great place to call your home base. "

"Our friend group enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic, walking distance to so many great spots and the beach, right along one of the main bus routes as well (if the bus shows up - slight issue for us). Some of the sheets seemed a little worn/stained, but otherwise the house was very clean and had everything we could have ever needed. The inside gathering spaces may not fit all 12 people, but the weather was great and we just used the backyard as our main hang out spot which was perfect....

Overall, our stay was wonderful and I found the property managers to be very responsive when I reached out regarding propane tanks and a question about the lawn. Although most of the house was spotless, one of the bathrooms had a moldy shower curtain which gives the shower an unclean appearance and feel. I had great communication with the property manager, and the house has a beautiful rooftop deck to watch sunset. We will definitely be back."

The location was ideal for quiet morning paddles on our SUPs or the kayaks provided by the owners, fishing and bird watching. We felt off the beaten path but were a short walk to Matunuck Oyster Bar and a mile from E Matunuck State Beach. The house was well equipped with everything needed to cook a meal at home and enjoy on the deck. Plenty of towels, beach towels and beach chairs were available and an easy ride ...
