"Functional hotel in a central location. Room was nice with a good bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast was hit and miss, with the hot items not great - fried eggs were hard as bricks wither black around the yolks indicating that they were sitting there for a while. The dining room was like a morgue - dark furniture, walls, ceiling and art - and equally depressing. No hot food available between 21:15 and 23:00 on a Friday evening. Not sure if it is a stop off for travellers off the ferry, but obviously no consideration for that. Nice that a water fountain is available on the floor, but some signposting would be good."

"What a quaint old hotel! A truly remarkable place. It is convenient and walkable to town events and a town festival was right up the street. The pub had live music daily and the food was great. There is parking close by which was a plus for being in town"

"We loved this property so much! The photos do not do it justice. If I were to build a retirement cottage, I would model it after this darling cottage. Additionally, the hosts were absolutely lovely and helpful in every way. I hope to return. *Wifi good for work & movie streaming"
