Quick drive to the historic district. Great breakfast each morning. Parts of the outside looked a little run down but the room was clean and very nice.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the accommodations I recently booked through your third-party platform. As a customer, I expected a certain level of quality and cleanliness, but the reality of my stay fell far short of my expectations. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately disappointed to find that the room was located outside in a courtyard area, rather than within the main building as I had anticipated. The overall condition of the room was also subpar, with clear signs of mildew and general disrepair that made the space feel unclean and unwelcoming. This is an unacceptable level of service, and I do not feel that the room I booked was reasonably aligned with the description and images provided on your website. As a result, I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience and cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to any future travelers. Although my experience was not a good one I do appreciate the staff for understanding.

I would have given five stars except for the very unprofessional staff member in the breakfast room at 6:30 AM on May 30. She was “monitoring” the breakfast room which seemed to consist mostly of her staring at her phone. When we stood up to leave she barked “TRASH!” loudly at us - we hadn’t seen a garbage can and weren’t aware we were supposed to clean our own table - we assumed it was her job since she wasn’t doing anything else. Otherwise, the place was great: front counter staff were courteous and efficient, room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, A/C worked well, and the breakfast was tasty. But that one staff member who embarrassed us by basically yelling at us in front of other guests because we didn’t clear our own table really ruined the experience for us.
