"We loved the location of the hotel for a visit to Yale. There is a water dispenser near the lobby, complimentary coffee in the morning. The shower was beautiful! The $25 parking fee (with in and out privileges) seemed a bit steep. You could stay in the same parking house for $22+tax if you didn’t need to leave. The hair dryer in the room was not in a good state (smelled burnt straight away) - but I forgot to follow that up. All in all a good place for a stopover in New Haven!"

"My husband & I checked into the hotel at 1am after our airbnb flooded. From the minute we arrived, we knew our stay was going to be amazing. Tylo at the front desk could not have done more to make us feel welcome &make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is set up with individual kitchenettes, which made our extended stay so easy. The hotel provides coffee and pastry in the lobby in the morning, which made mornings before work very easy and having access to coffee and tea in the room at night. Allowed us to go to bed, relaxed, and not have to bother the staff. The bathrooms are spacious and fully stocked with amenities and they even have a desk and couch in the room. So you can easily work from home or have a meal. In the room. The restaurant on site is amazing, and the rooftop bar in restaurant is one of a kind in new haven. The valet was super helpful handmade coming and going easy. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and plan to come here next time. I just need a daycation. Don't forget to ask for Tylo! The highlight of our trip"

"We recently stayed at Hyatus Downtown at Yale and had a good experience overall. The building is convenient and easy to access with a designated parking spot and the apartment unit felt modern, bright, and welcoming. Other highlights of the property are definitely the building amenities; having access to a fully equipped gym and a rooftop is a plus. The location is practical, positioned centrally between local businesses downtown New Haven, and some surrounding low-income blocks. To elevate the apartment to a true 5-star rating, a few maintenance and housekeeping details need attention. The throw blanket in the main room needed a proper wash before our arrival. The bathroom also felt somewhat average compared to the rest of the unit, the lighting was dim and needed a lighted mirror, while the vanity counter and tub/shower combo were somewhat worn down. Overall, it was a solid 4-star stay with great building features and a nice welcome bag with snacks.👍"

"The room was spacious and clean. Close to new haven union station, yale university and downtown. We enjoyed the pool, gym and the rooftop. Check in and check out process were very smooth. Sarah was very responsive to our questions. Would def stay here again."

"The home itself was very nice and quite clean, but the central AC failed on our second night. While the first night without it was manageable with open windows, the next day was a struggle due to weekend repair delays. To the host's credit, she communicated well and bought three window units, which I offered to install, to cool the house for our final two nights. It was a stressful hiccup, but the host did her best to make it right and immediately issued a partial refund for the inconvenience.""
