"Taking into account the property is older, it was pretty well maintained, however imo, it will need upgrading in the near future. I’m not saying it’s bad, just that it’s age shows in things like (in the room I stayed) fraying carpet in corners, difficulty with sliding balcony door, the lighting in the room could be brighter, (don’t laugh) and a toilet that was about 12 inches high. I’m 6’4”. It was like sitting on a training potty for a toddler. Plus the flush was not very strong. At times I thought I was going to stop up the toilet and have to call maintenance. I did ask the front desk host about the size of the toilet. She didn’t know why and didn’t necessarily expect her to, so the best answer she could give me was to ask for a room with a regular sized toilet on my next stay. Lastly the elevators moved a little too slow, so it took awhile for them to arrive. There were two things I’d put in the category of “cheesy”. The gift for Hilton Honors members was, drum roll, 2 bottles of water. Second, was $10/night parking charge. Not deal breakers, but … Now, don’t get me wrong, the stay was pleasant, because there were many things that were great. The full breakfast, the happy hour, friendly and helpful staff, room size, comfortable bed and furniture, clean room, and the expected room amenities. Most importantly, the room rate was very reasonable. So, would I stay there again? Absolutely. I’d just make sure I’d ask for a room with a man sized toilet 😜."

"Clean room, Nice Hotel, pretty sure I reserved a room with a kitchenette, but has given a room with just a refrigerator, I make sure they get it right next time, but the room was still very nice."

"Our stay was probably one of the best stays in a long time. First impression of LaQuinta, York, PA was WOW! The staff was extremely helpful and personable. The housekeeping staff actually worked and it showed throughout the hotel!! The breakfast and staff was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The overall facility was updated and beautifully decorated. We will definitely stay there again when in York, PA!"

"Rooftop bar is fabulous! When we first arrived with our bikes, we were told to park in the parking garage, which was not right, but finally we were given a great space just inside the front door. Thank you for that and hopefully in the future we can be directed directly to that room for bike storage."

"Overall it was a good experience. The bathrooms could use a good deep clean and new mattresses are in order. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately there was nighttime construction happening on the already busy road outside my window but that it’s the hotel’s fault."
