Delhi is many cities. Modern, old, oppulent, deprived, stepping back in time and moving forward. All life is here in its naked glory. Westerners can feel at once welcome, viewed with interest, targetted , but it is a joy also for many reasons.

It's chaotic but it has its charm! Recommend getting a tour guide if this is your first visit, to avoid feeling overwhelmed with the crowd on the streets and the heat (42 celcius in May)

I had arrived at another hotel 2am in the morning (Mayda inn). I somehow managed to sleep, and when I woke up, I immediately booked the Radisson standard room for 2 nights. I was amazed at how clean and presentable the hotel, room and staff were. The place exceeded my expectations. I went for a Hyrox competition and I’ll be back next year, at the Radisson
I was also given some invaluable advice regarding the Uber drivers (beware)
