"This property is a working farm, so if you lie in your bed with your windows open, you can hear all of the animals as they go about their business. It's quite soothing and relaxing. The owner is incredibly sweet and works hard to ensure that you're comfortable. The views are breathtaking, and it's not far from a couple of quaint little towns. I'd recommend trying the Boswell Arms pub about 15 minutes away of you have the time and means. It is unorganized to now that all of the rooms are up a short flight of stairs and the toilet and shower are on the main floor. "

"This is a charming property in a small quaint town. The grounds and room were very nice. The owner greeted us upon arrival and the staff was attentive. For a small inn, there is an amazing restaurant on site. I highly recommend Blackaddie House if visiting the area. "

"Beautiful secluded cottage in a quiet area, house was clean & tidy. Very spacious and we enjoyed our stay. Only negatives were the mattresses in the bedrooms were rock hard, owner needs to invest in a good mattress topper especially if staying more than 2 nights. No communication from the host beforehand & no bin bags or dish cloth to use on our first night. Otherwise all ok feedback! "

"The Bothy is a great find. Intimate space ideal for a couple that would suit a small family too. Bothy was spotless. Some nice walks nearby and interesting spots a short drive away. The hot tub is really welcoming on a cold evening."
