"After a few days in a loud, lively beach town, we were looking for a quiet place by the sea - and found paradise! We stayed in a cozy, private hut (superior double room) with an open-air bathroom - showering while looking at palm trees is just amazing! As the cabañas are openly built, there are some insects, but that never was a problem for us. The bed is covered with a moskito net and waking up in the middle of beautiful tropical nature is just all we wanted. In the morning you hear nothing but...

"The location was great, service was very professional and we had no issues overall. The food is outstanding and prices are fair. We had maybe two points to improve: 1. WiFi was not consistently working, since it works with satellites and the weather can affect the service. 2. Our room was located near the main reception and there was plenty of noise coming from the staff during the mornings."

"Excellent! it felt like our own private island, once in a life time experience , if you’re thinking about going dure there COVID don’t hesitate as you’ll most likely be the only guest there. Sleeping with waves in the background , waking up with tropical birds chirping, watching the sun set and the sky turn pink... combined with 3 meals a day from an amazing chef cooking with so much love and joy. be aware that during the rainy period you need to get there by boat which also adds to the whole...

"After traveling 10 hours by bus from Cartagena, I was relieved to have arrived at Pavo Real. A wonderful vegetarian restaurant was on site and I got the room with a private pool. Such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is happy and you are well taken care of. I’d stay again! I loved it here. The room was clean and cleaned daily. Easy to walk to town and you can eat every meal at the hotel if you don’t want to eat in the main town proper. I’d definitely recommend staying here!"
