"Hi, there is no do not disturb sign so every day the cleaner would knock very loudly and barge into the room. Also the owner demanded payment when I checked in the even though I booked online. Why do I have to pay twice? Also I checked in at 11:30 pm and the reception was closed even though they’re supposed to be open until midnight. What if I didn’t have a phone? I would have had to sleep outside "

"The space was roomy and mostly clean The stove burners were quite dirty. The toilet was very unkept. I cleaned it a bit but a bathroom should be cleaned everyday. We were provided with 3 coffees for 3 people for 4 overmight stays. A sign requesting us to keep the place clean, while perhaps understandable, were unable to fo a good job with no way to clean the floor or wipe up spills or messes. We did use the bottle of toilet cleaner Accessibility was also an issue as we had to climb three...

"This was a reasonably-priced room, and the process of checking-in and checking-out was hassle-free. The location was handy, and the breakfast area was very good."

"The internet was broken, no elevetor - no airconditioning and the bugs - flies and wasps flew into the room. Had to have the windows open because it was so hot. Nice older couple ( I'm 74 myself) but in way over their heads. Really too bad. I booked another hotel through expedia and move - a good hotel the Mercure."

"The entrance and access to the rooms was dirty and unwelcoming. There was a lot of noise from delivery trucks and garbage trucks. There was no reception to speak of and this made it difficult to organise anything like taxis etc to get around. Extremely rude and arrogant manager who swore and used foul language when we made a comment that he was not very helpful or courteous. The place itself once passed the entrance was lovely but there was no lift and no help with luggage up the stairs. ...

"Living in Berlin City Stay Hostel is really a great experience. The owner Mr.Zeitler is quite understanding and the facilities are same as stated and to be true better than expected.The washrooms are maintained well and the facility is very nicely lit.And most importantly there are large windows allowing lots of sunlight inside.
