"The property needs to consider better lighting in the room because it’s basically dark even when all the lights are on. Our room also had a problem with the drainage in the shower, which was very convenient when you have two people trying to shower. General things like having an ironing board and iron in every room would also be appreciated."

About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here...

"Rooms are a bit small, but my dad who is in a wheelchair had such an amazing handicap accessible room that made things so much easier for him."

"There are definitely some things to like about the property - while not in the center of town it was a close enough walk to restaurants/shops. Parking is close by and free. Breakfast was good, especially liked the basket of bread/croissants set on the table each morning. Their coffee/latte/espresso machine will satisfy your caffeine fix. Was not in love with the family studio room, very early 1990's Ikea type furniture, bare bones decor. It reminded me of the kind of room you get when you're in...

"This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard....

"The setting was beautiful, and the room was very clean. The grounds were very well kept. Gabrielle was extremely helpful. The breakfast offering was more than adequate with lots of choice. The only real downside from my point of view was the limited menu available in the evenings, however the food they did provide was excellent quality. I would happily book again."

The breakfast was very nice with many traditional French options including local cheese. I didn’t use the pool, but it was very nice. The spa has 2 nice jacuzzi’s that are large. "We reserved 2 rooms and both rooms smell like a septic tank. Room 103 in the shower all you could get was extremely hot water which made it hard to take a shower and there was no heat in the bedroom so the second day was cold and without the heat I had to wear a jacket to bed. The people were nice but the place was differently wasn’t what I expected."
