"Excellent stay, staff were all very helpful and friendlt. Breakfast was very good and beds comfy. Nice and quiet, excellent surroundings and easy to walk into the town."

"Staff friendly and competent. OK breakfast. Diner was fine. We could not quite understand the high rating this hotel got. Forest themed, the decoration was sad, a bit outdated and worn. The mattresses were thin and not particularly comfortable. Our view of the forest was to a rain drenched copse strewn with beer cans and a tissue (I hope unused). Perfectly adequate, but overrated. "
