"We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!"

"A wonderful tucked away cottage. It has a lovely little garden where my daughter was able to work with the sound of birds to keep her company. "The whole family loved the pool and enjoyed the tennis court. Using the cottages for 4 people means that 2 people in the attic look down on the 2 below. The Wi-Fi in Oast did not work. "Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm.
