"EXcellent,5 star hotel come pub and restaurant.Thoroughly clean throughout, excellent choice of real ales, excellent varied menu, ultra clean super king bedroom, overlooking the Dee marshes, and nice views over to Wales! Our favourite place to stay locally, just an hour travel from Merseyside area.a.Well be back soon!"
"Lovely stay at this hotel. Only downside was the queue when checking in and lack of options to buy a bottle of cold water when I got back on Saturday night."
"Accommodation is fine. Breakfast menu is a selection of fried, unhealthy or coated in butter. Needs to be better to compete with other local providers"
"Amazing setting and beautiful grounds
Great place for wedding celebrations
However the rooms were rather small with limited facilities for the price paid.
Breakfast times restricted to 8-10 , would extend to accommodate guests’needs. Also a bit disappointing you had to pay a supplement to have half of the items on the menu"
"We had a lovely time, just a few things that slightly dampened the experience.
Need black out blinds in the family room as the light was streaming through until late and with the heat as well the children couldn't get to sleep until it went dark.
The gastro pub food l would give a miss in future, very bland, dry and of poor quality but high prices.
We would 100% come back though."
