"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"Diabolical! At the reception, out of the blue, the man decided to insult me and belittle me, in front of my partner. Both, my partner and I were shocked by this. When I complained to his wife, she was helpful and got him to apologise. The apology, in a way, made things worse, because the man kept on saying that he wasn't being racist. "Outstanding stay at the Rondeva. Great view of the river and open space. The accommodate has everything you need and more. The beds are very good and the bathroom is modern to high standard. Parking to the rear of the building and short walk to Chester centre. Will stay again"
