"Fell view is a great base. The house is lovely, beds are amazing, towels are luxurious and everything you could ever need in the kitchen and utility room. Very dog friendly with dog bed and towels provided. The garden is a great size with different seating areas and all enclosed so we felt very relaxed on the decking with our dog able to enjoy wandering around safely. "Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

"We enjoyed our week in this comfortable and well equipped cottage on a farm. Near to the best preserved sections of Hadrian's Wall and Roman forts. Peaceful and relaxing."

"Property was larger than expected. It was clean and well furnished and provided a lovely break. Its in a very remote location, which is what we were looking for. Very dog friendly. some noise from the property upstairs but wasn't too intrusive."
