Great property in a great location. The house was just like it was shown in the photos and was clean and nicely setup. We were out there 4 wheeling and the place had plenty of parking, however our 24ft trailer was about the longest you'd want due to the slope of the entrance. The location was great as there were multiple trails within a mile or two. When I called to get check in info the host answered right away and was very accommodating and answered all my questions and then some. Overall great property and great host! Would rent again!
We stayed here for the Sturgis rally. The place was nice and the mile of gravel road was well maintained. We had a few issues, but the owners are working those out. We would stay there again. Overall our stay was nice. The sunsets were fabulous and no issues with animals or neighbors.
First of all I want to say out beautiful this house is. Everything was correct that the listing stated. Also the owner was nice enough to send an email with basically everything we need to know. Had a blast out there and really enjoyed the house. Only thing I want to say is there was a moth issue. Had to by Moth (spray / balls) but otherwise was spot on. Thanks so much!!
Very beautiful home and beautifully decorated. Great location. Nice amenities. Comfortable beds. Great view, we seen deer while sitting on the deck. Only minor dislike was there were quite a few moths inside. However they werent flying around being pests. They were on the wall or floor versus flying around. It wasnt a big issue for us. We had just stayed somewhere previous with flies which was way more annoying than the moths. We would definitely stay at this property again.
Our family of four stayed here for 6 days and this was by far the best house we've ever stayed at. The view is beautiful and so peaceful. The house was spacious, our teenager's had their own floors to settle down at night. They loved that. The nights were the best with the boardgames and looking at the night sky off the deck. Not a problem one with our stay, would highly recommend.
We loved the property. The house was so beautiful. We saw so much wildlife from the porch ans balcony as well as driving back to the house every evening. Only issues were that the second floor bedroom light wouldnt work and the 3rd floor bathroom took a little to flush sometimes. Otherwise the home was amazing and those things were really minor for us. Home had everything we needed for a family of 9. We would definitely come back!

Areas Need Attention
The property did not meet expectations. It was a challenge to get comfortable or sleep at night. The queen beds on main and upper level were not supportive and felt like you were falling out of bed; the kitchen lacked the supplies advertised: there were only 3 dinner forks; utensils required scrubbing to use, kitchen pan/pots were all flaking, scorched, or warped; the sink required scrubbing to remove scum film, the trash can lid in kitchen was covered with dried on slop and required cleaning (which I did to avoid gag reflex when putting trash in the can); dead flies and moths were in most draws, cabinets (including all cabinets under sinks, closet floors). Two bathrooms sinks (main and upper floor) were clogged and very slow draining which were painful to use; Linens were poor quality (thin) including sheets and towels; no screens were on upper floor windows for cool air flow into bedroom at night (a portable A/C unit was available if you could stand the noise) but with 50 degree nights the use of A/C is not the answer (I finally found screen to put in upper bedroom window); overgrown weeds, brush were growing around house and in walkways outside; ruts in walkways around house were a trip and fall hazard; grill was a mess with used brushes that were nasty and could not use. TV in main family room was nice but low quality sound. The other amenities were fine. The area is a nice location for walks and access to park sites in the area and super quiet.
Very nice accommodations and a great location for what we were looking for. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Host was very friendly and always responsive in communications.

Relaxation in Nemo
Location was great with a stunning view. The cabin/home was good, but needing repairs in every facet of the building. lights didn't work, holes in the ceiling, struggled with water pressure, tons of dead bugs in all window sills, electric fireplace didn't work, only had usable heat for the cold mornings in one bathroom, broken blinds. Once you could get past all that, are stay was ok.
This was our second visit to the home. The house is perfect for our family with 2 grown children, everyone has there own space when needed. The snow back home extended our stay an additional night & Jen was very accommodating.
Our stay was great! Beautiful views and our boys loved exploring around the woods. Just a few housekeeping things and some welcoming moths. Otherwise would highly recommend.
We were doing a trip from Yellowstone to Mt. Rushmore/Badlands with our three daughters before they head to College. We were so busy visiting Custer State Park- we experienced driving thru a Buffalo herd- highly recommend this place. Then on to Crazyhorse, Mt Rushmore, Needles Highway and the Badlands. Wow!! Such a beautiful part of the country and enjoyed the Black Hills area, too. The house accommodation was good for our family of 6.
This was a great rental for our family. Plenty of space for the three of us. Definitely equipped to handle more. It was private and included beautiful views of the national forest land. Also, it was close to Lead, Deadwood, Pactola Lake, Hill City and Spearfish Canyon. Short drive to everything we wanted to do, and we had all the comforts of home.
The cabin was perfect! The views are breathtaking. Enjoyed disconnecting and enjoying nature around us. We had an enjoyable and memorable family vacation. We took in all the sights nearby, and loved having a home that accommodated all of us including our furry family member.
Had a great time staying here place was plenty big enough for our whole family an friends great scenery around the house was easy to get to all the trails. We came in from Cincinnati, OH an it felt like home the whole week. I was very happy to that the grill worked out great as well I have stayed at many place when we go on trips an the grill seems to never work they had gas an it worked great for us... thanks again for the great experience!
This house was perfect for us! 3 couples all with side by sides visiting the Black Hills to enjoy the trails! Loved being out in the country. The 3 levels of the house were perfect for a little privacy. The driveway is pretty steep, but we were able to maneuver 2 trucks & trailers just fine. We would definitely rent this house again! Instructions & communication were very clear.
Beautiful views bordering the national park. Quiet and relaxing. I believe that they need to add some soft surfaces to absorb some sound inside the cabin.
