We went back to the states for a wedding and a house sit on the Mississippi in a little town called Wabasha. It's one of our favorite areas of Minnesota, aside from the north shore. It was nice to be in nature in the middle of silence.

"Great view of Lake Pepin & Mississippi River. Hotel has lawn chairs to watch the wide riverfront view. We didn't use the outdoor pool, but several guests without any issues. We ate dinner at Big Bear pizza and breakfast at Heidi's Hugga-Mugga cafe. We went to the city's dog-park with Rocky and visited the beach & fountains by the marina."

"I had an issue getting into my room after returning and the staff was very gracious and put me into a dofferent room and drove 30 minutes to help rescue me so i could get my belongings from the room. I would stay here again. Has wonderful historic charm. "
