"The room was clean and either newer or recently remodeled. This layout uses the new compact style of newer hotel rooms where every inch is used, and while it is small, it's still easy to move around. At check-in, we were given a bag with two bottled waters, some chips, and a granola bar, and there were also cookies available at the counter, along with popcorn. The walk-in shower was large, and the water pressure was decent. The TV only offered cable channels with no streaming options. The bed was of medium firmness, but the pillows had very little support. The included breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, and waffles being the highlights. There were also the continental staples. The breakfast room was very small and cramped, though, meaning it was difficult to get around and be seated comfortably. This hotel is well outside the city, with only a small family-style restaurant on the grounds. However, it is right next to the highway, and its remote location makes it certainly quieter with almost no traffic."

"The facility was lovely, the room was nice. The pool was not great - one of the underwater light was loose, & ended up floating free, the no-slip strips on the steps into the pool appeared to have been pulled off & never replaced, & the ladder at the deeper end was only the handles & no steps. Otherwise, it was fine."

"Clean room. Easy check in. The breakfast was pretty nice for a US hotel. It had a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, cereal options, apples and bananas, yogurt, eggs (meh), bacon, potatoes, plus the usual coffee and juice options. The room was comfortable and appropriately sized and the shower was pleasant. Only a few miles from Charleston. Parking was easy and abundant."
