"The cabin is far larger than the photos make it look, we had 7 adults with plenty of space. It was well furnished and in a gorgeous remote setting. The weather was rainy and cold during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the sauna or a bonfire but the amenities looked like they would have been amazing to use! The only downfall is that there’s only one bathroom but even with 7 people we never ran out of hot water in the shower. Beds were cozy, cabin was clean and smelled great, there were plenty of things to do and the host was super easy to work with!! Definitely would stay here again if in the area! Were in the UP for NMU graduation and it was only 15minutes from the school, perfect, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, homey location. Highly recommended!!!"

"This is always a great option for us! No pool or complimentary breakfast but there’s a kitchenette and full size fridge in each room so you can make your own! There are restaurant options nearby and for the first time, we took a nice long walk behind the hotel and it’s an absolutely beautiful area!"

"This is an older hotel, but that said it suited my needs as a solo female traveler, stopping to sleep. It’s was very quiet and felt very safe. Hot shower with good water pressure and the bed was comfortable, too. I would stay here again with my family or alone if needing an affordable place to stop for the night. I left before breakfast, but they did have a fresh pot of coffee with your basic 1/2 and 1/2 creamer, sugars etc (thankfully not powered creamer:))"
