Secluded WV Retreat Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Kayaks

"We had a great stay! We were looking for something secluded where we could see fall colors. One reviewer said they felt too close to neighbors. That concerned me, so I reached out to Emily and she assured me that we'd be secluded and that that was the only reviewer who had ever complained. When we arrived, I was a little concerned about how many neighbors there were, but sure enough, like Emily said, we were above the other places and felt distant from them. I could see the roof of one house and I heard dogs barking a few times and some laughing and music a couple times, But the area is in the trees and I couldn't see anyone. So the deck and the fire pit felt nice and private. We loved the hot tub.The colors were spectacular!, both there at the property and at the places we drove to.Emily was very responsive and helpful. She responded quickly when we had a couple issues and was helpful and proactive. We'd definitely recommend!(One note -- I gave it 5 stars for "How convenient was the property location?" because I was afraid giving it less would lower the overall score. But if "convenient" means "close to restaurants, stores, highways, etc." then it wasn't really convenient. It's accessible only by narrow winding roads, and a good grocery store, as Emily has noted, is a half hour away. But that's what people looking for seclusion want, right? We wanted something that WASN'T close to those things.)"

"The cabin is very quaint and in the most peaceful and beautiful location! The bed was comfortable and the cabin had everything you would need. Sitting in the screened in porch taking in all the sights and sounds was my most favorite thing to do! Looking forward to coming back and enjoying it again!"

"We had a wonderful time during our stay. The host was accommodating and responsive throughout the booking process. We had 12 kids under 8 years old with us and there were so many activities for them, they had an amazing time. The outdoor space is wonderful. The house was very clean and well appointed. There were plenty of sheets and towels. The suspension bridge is in need of repair. Perhaps steps built into the bank of the creek would be a safer option. We still made it in the creek and the kids had a great time exploring. Thank you for having us."

"Exactly what we were searching for! Very clean and ready to settle in. Also pretty close (less than 20 min.) to town of Berkeley Springs. Hot tub was very relaxing while being able to watch the camp fire and stars at night."
