"We have just returned from our first visit to Sani Dunes having previously been to Ikos. In our opinion Sani knocks spots off Ikos and we cannot recommend this fabulous resort highly enough. "Pics are deceiving… the pool was closed at 6 pm, not 7 as they say. The beach is accessible through a steep hill (no stairs) and the elderly will barely make it. Resort needs more renovations. Nothing but small towns/villages around, no walking paths. You’re pretty much locked in the hotel. Food was good but the choice was limited like in Cuban hotels. No evening entertainment programs. Maybe I’m spoiled by Dominican resorts… however I’ve been to all inclusive properties, I can compare, and this...

"Toppenläge precis vid stranden vilket gav hotellet ett lyft. Fint arrangerad trädgård men i övrigt inget höjdar hotell. Dåligt om inte totalt tomt på köksgeråd, stenhårda sängar/kuddar, halv dant städat och folk rökte precis överallt så det blåste aska in på balkongen och över bord och stolar. Inför rökförbud, det är ändå 2024. Stranden var smutsig av tång och gamla fimpar och ockerpriser för en solstol. "

"A really charming hotel appartement with wood styling. It is exactly what you expect for a low budget hotel but also more because of the really nice staff, everything that we missed and ask for was provided with no problem. Everything was in a walking distance. The road nearby was busier than I expected but from there you could easily go to other towns or beaches. It was a nice 3-day stay and we enjoyed the balconies with a sea view the most. "
