"It's a completely gorgeous spot and the staff are friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are amazing. As a hotel option, it's not ideal in terms of efficiency and modernity, so don't go there looking for that. This is for someone who appreciates an old mansion, a gothic rooftop, an old school fancy bar. The property sits on a road that is walkable and scenic, and the home has great views of the lake, which is perfect for kayaking. Overall, an enjoyable vacation away from home!"
