There is no front desk 24/7 since its not a resort, so you speak to him through WhatsApp. Although it may seem weird to some, its actually much easier and he is there all the time when you need him. In addition, the breakfast is ordered in this same way and it is delicious. The rooms were so well kept, the amenities and the views were perfect. "Three star hotel seems overrated: Cons: The rooms were very outdated. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, along with the bedding being old. The beach towels provided (specifically to our room) appeared to be rags. Other guests had newer towels. The bathroom had a tiny shower with doors that did not close and leaked water, completely soaking the bath mat with each shower. I would also recommend showering at night or being an early riser. "We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grotta. From the start, they arranged for free transport to and from the Ferry Port. This was extremely convenient and cost effective for us. We enjoyed the friendly driver who handled our tranport. When I had a problem with a change in time on our ferry ticket, he quickly transported me to the Ferry ticket office to resolve so I could get to my ferry on time. The breakfast was spectacular. "The staff of this hotel are amazing! Great ideas on things to do and ways to get there. They treat you like family and make everything special! Balcony with the water view was gorgeous. This hotel is in a quiet part of the island. However, it is also very close to two incredible beaches that you have to walk into. I would recommend a car if you are staying at this hotel as it is far from other things. The breakfast is delightful and the staff really care about you and the other guest."

"My group had booked 4 rooms at this resort. Generally, everything was great - the two pools, closeness to the beach, breakfast options, and helpful front desk. However, of the 4 rooms we had booked, 2 of the rooms had incredibly uncomfortable issues with housekeeping. For both rooms, the housekeeping did more than just clean the rooms.
