"Lovely property with updated great villas. Loved it! Breakfast great. Pool and lounge area quiet for relaxation before and after beach. We rented a car to explore the whole island including various remote beaches and the mountains which we recommend highly. Maroula and her mother were wonderful hosts and staff was very helpful. Place was immaculate and we would definitely recommend."

"What a great place ! First the pick up at the port was a nice touch. Definitely put the extra mile. The room was nicely decorated. Had a kitchen microwave small fridge. The hot tub was a bonus specially all the walking hiking I’ve done. The location was unbeatable right by the Portara - the main strip and the port. Also soundproof slept like a baby. "

"The responsibility for this rating is mostly due to mismanagement by Orbitz. We booked this property months in advance. Upon our arrival the hotel did not know of our booking. I had to call Orbitz, international call charges, to resolve the matter. Since the hotel did not know of our booking they had to scramble to find rooms. We were put in the basement were there was a faint smell of sewage in the halls. This was a Greek vacation, booked months in advance and we were put in the basement!"

We booked a room with a balcony but when we arrived we were put in a basement room that was very dark like a dungeon with no balcony only a chair and a tall wall that you can’t look over. We also had to walk through another rooms private seating area which felt uncomfortable - there was no privacy. The room had no phone signal and no Wi-Fi. "Nikos and his wife were the most wonderful hosts!. Nikos picked us at the port and his wife welcomed us with homemade lemonade and explained the town and sites to see. The property is beautiful and spotless. We appreciated the fresh fruits left for us in our room and the homemade bread. We had an amazing vacation and we look forward to coming back. It is also well located. Grocery and bus stop are 5 min walk. On our departure, Nikos dropped us to the ferry. Highly recommend."

"5 stars! Fabulous hotel in a very convenient location just outside Naxos town (a 15-minute walk to the harbor-front). The building itself is quite unique/architecturally interesting and extremely well-kept. The pool as well as the surrounding area is very attractive/inviting, and there are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs available. There is also ample parking on the hotel grounds. We can’t say enough good things about the staff; everyone - from the owner to the front desk to room-cleaning staff - was extraordinarily friendly, accommodating and helpful. Price-value was exceptional for our stay during the 3rd week of May. The Astir of Naxos gets our highest recommendation!"
