Whiskey Rock | Private Estate on 50 acres | Event Friendly | Spectacular Views

10/10 Excellent

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property! We stayed here for our wedding, and it was the perfect place for such a special occasion. The property was gorgeous, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. We especially appreciated the flexibility and accommodation with our early check-in, which made a huge difference as we prepared for our wedding day.Our experience was fantastic, and we are so grateful to the hosts for helping make our wedding weekend even more special. The only minor issue was that the solar-powered lights on the deck overlooking the field weren’t working, but that certainly didn’t take away from our overall experience. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay, especially for a special event. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend so memorable!"

Amish built A-frame , modern comforts, 20 minutes from Asheville

10/10 Excellent

"greta property! beautiful architecture and decor. one challenge was that there was no ventilation for the cooktop, so smells tended to linger. also, the unit was close to the main building and there were a lot of windows, so there wasn’t the best privacy situation. but great otherwise!"

Waterfront cabin with mountain views; 26 minutes to downtown Asheville.

The Sugar Creek Chalet | A-Frame on 300+ Acres Near Asheville

8/10 Good

"This was a great stay and was perfect for a weekend get away. The rooms were lovely, bathrooms seemed brand new, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was fun to hike up the property to an area where there was an overlook. We would definitely stay at this property again. The reason I am not giving 5 stars: 1. Booking kicked me over to a different site off of VRBO as the property is managed through a company called Yonder. I read all their agreements and noted that we would have dogs with us, which prompted additional fees despite VRBO saying all fees were listed with the stay. I understand dogs can put wear and tear on a place, but I felt it was misleading on the VRBO site since we searched for dog stays. 2. The homeowners or property managers had the AC unit set to reset overnight. Our first night we were all sweating as the AC had been reset to 81 degrees. That temperature is diabolical! We had to make multiple phone calls to help get this setting turned off and they eventually just gave us the password to log into their AC app. 3. The indoor fireplace was not usable as it had active wasps inside of it. When we noted this while calling about the AC, the maintenance team said: "Oh yes, we have the email about the wasps and birds in the fireplace." This led me to believe they knew about it before we arrived onsite. We were fine to not use it, but were bummed to hear it was something the property team was already aware of before our stay as it would have been cozy!"

Bears Den: Private, Comfortable, Well Kept Cottage w Hot Tub overlooking River.

10/10 Excellent

"We loved the quiet woodsy setting with the babbling brook nearby! The place was cozy, clean, and private. The kitchen was conveniently stocked with every utensil, dish, pans, etc to allow for meal preparation. The bedroom and bed were very comfortable. The water pressure was great for showers while dishwasher or washing machine were running.Check in and out was easy. Communication was excellent- questions were answered without a few minutes.Highly recommend!"

Hamersmith Hollow Retreat by AvantStay | Mountain Views

10/10 Excellent

"This was our second time staying at this property, and once again we had a great experience. The property is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We were in the area for work again, and it was a great place to come back to after a long day.We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property. If we’re back in the area again, we will absolutely stay here!"
