"The Firefly of Dawson TX is the cutest little studio apartment guest house. The owners are very accommodating and want to make sure their guests have everything they need.There are a few yard chickens that wander around adding charm and farmhouse character. The front porch runs the length of the building.and has a nice outdoor sitting area that is the perfect spot to sit and sip your coffee, cocoa, or tea in the mornings while the sun comes up. And to look for fireflies after dark!Inside,The Firefly is decorated as cute as can be, with attention to detail, functionality, and comfort. The bed was so comfortable with super soft sheets & pillowcases. The cover was so soft and the perfect weight. There were four pillows of different thickness and firmness, making it over the top incredible to choose our favorite types.The bath towels were luxurious, large, soft and absorbent, I absolutely loved the chic shower curtain. I want one just like it for my bathroom!The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils, as well as a coffee maker that could brew coffee using k-cups (with a nice sampling of varieties) or regular brewed coffee (with pre-ground,, pre-measured packets provided,)We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to relax and unwind a bit even though we were in town for a sad occasion—to say goodbye to a dear family member who passed away. We hope to come back for another stay when the weather is cooler and the occasion happier."

"We stayed at this location for 10 days. It felt like home. There were a few minor issues that were quickly remedied. The host was fantastic, communication was great!! I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to the possibility of staying again on our next vacation to visit the kids and grandkids in Corsicana."

"Everything was great and clean. We were there 7 days and Chad had to have the septic pumped twice and when we left it needed it again. Chad was very quick to take care of it each time. I don't believe the leaching fields were working properly. But the overall stay was amazing. I would stay there again for sure."
