"Stayed in many hotels in Cartagena over the past 6 years and our stay here was absolutely one of the best! Everything from the staff (huge thanks to Chef Isaac, who took the time to show me how to make a dessert he had prepared that I loved) to amazing breakfasts and extremely comfortable room (bed was so comfortable AC worked perfectly and perhaps the best shower in Cartagena) and rooftop pool so enjoyable and great Wi-Fi. Will absolutely stay again on our next trip!"

"Our stay at Hyatt Regency Cartagena was a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is beautiful, modern, clean, and offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The pools, the atmosphere, and the location were perfect for enjoying Cartagena with our family. The staff was kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. The service was excellent, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality that made our vacation memorable. Our suite was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our family. One thing we would suggest improving is the check-in experience. Since we arrived earlier than the official check-in time, we had to wait several hours for our designated suite, even though we were traveling with two small children. It would have been helpful to have a faster solution or a more comfortable arrangement while waiting. Despite that, our overall stay was amazing, and we would gladly return. Hyatt Regency Cartagena is a beautiful hotel with great service, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting this incredible city."

"I travel to Bocagrande, Cartagena at least once every year and usually stay at another hotel, but during this visit I decided to try Gio Hotel for a change. Unfortunately, my experience was mixed and ultimately disappointing. On the positive side, the location is excellent very convenient for getting around and the pricing is fair for the area. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and I really enjoyed the free pool table available for guests. Breakfast options were limited, but the food itself was tasty but small. I also want to recognize a few staff members who made a positive impression: a young man at the front desk, the bartender in the evening, and a shorter woman in blue they were all helpful and professional. However, there were several issues that impacted my stay. Cleanliness needs improvement, as I noticed stains on the sheets, and the towels appeared worn and in need of replacement. Additionally, the hotel seems to have too many rules, and much of the staff came across as unfriendly. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere at times it felt less like a welcoming hotel and more like staying somewhere where you don’t feel at ease. While the hotel has potential due to its location and amenities, the inconsistencies in service and cleanliness would make me reconsider staying here again. Unfortunately, this will likely be my first and last visit. These are my personal observations, shared in the hope that management takes them into consideration to improve the overall."
