"You get what you paid for from this hotel and on the island you do not want to cheap out on your sleeping arrangements. Got to use the gym it was adequate for a hotel. It is a Hilton related property so you can get Hilton credit, turn down service with cookies. Resort is pretty far away from everything 15 minute drive to most places some 20 minutes. The resort is built for you to not have to leave if you do not want to, a bunch of activities, and a variety of choices to eat. Room service menu was very good. Hotel staff was nice, responsive, and accommodating. It is right off the beach, with multiple swimming pools, including adult only pool just know onsite attendant. "

"For previous stays at other VRBO properties, we have debated on ratings between 4 or 5 stars. For Oceana, we could have easily given 6 stars if that was an option! The pictures don’t do justice to the property and the surrounding views. The property is well maintained even though it seems to be rented often. Daily housekeeping service is provided, creating an experience similar to staying at a private boutique hotel.This was our first time in Anguilla and we were fortunate to have stayed at Oceana. The house is very spacious. There is air conditioning in each bedroom complemented by ceiling fans throughout the house, resulting in comfortable indoor temperatures despite the hot sun outside. The house has two master suites which can be easily shared by two couples while allowing for privacy. Loved the outdoor shower facing Crocus Bay.Our only suggestion would be to add an umbrella or two to the pool area for shade as the sun can be intense. The only problem is that one might never leave :-). A car is needed to explore the Island and its beautiful beaches. They do drive on the left, but compared to the US/British Virgin Islands, it is much easier to drive in Anguilla. The roads are wider and there is less traffic.Our favorite beach turned out to be Rendezvous Bay where we parked ourselves at Sunshine Shack. We were sad to leave. We would return to Oceana in a heartbeat. However, securing available dates may be hard, as previous guests appear to be repeat visitors."

"I couldn’t have asked for a better location to celebrate my birthday. The villa and the property were breathtaking. The owner, Ivor, and the staff were so friendly, accommodating, and available! Grocery stores, boutiques, and restaurants were minutes away. The beach was right outside your door. Request the Pelican Villa. The view was amazing. "

"Our group was three couples (age 40's-50's) and we stayed in the month of June. Overall, we had an amazing stay and I hope some of my reviews will help your decision.The house was SUPER CLEAN. No dust, dirt, or anything like that found in any of the areas. Arriving at a clean house takes so much stress off. This house was well cleaned.The kitchen has all the cooking gear you will need, coffee makers, grinders, everything you would use at your house. There was salt and pepper, and other spices already there to use as well. They leave you trash bags and dishwasher soap, so you won't need to bring your own.Jeet was the man. He was extremely nice and communicated well with us. He was there (with Stella, hi!) and he showed us around and answered any questions we had. I cannot say enough of how nice and affable he was. We seriously wished we hung out with him. He has an interesting life. (Our friend got to chat with him a bit)Definitely get a rental vehicle. The villa is off the beaten path and some of the road is dirt with rocks. As long as you drive on it like you are in a school zone, you will be fine. We went to restaurants each night and nothing was more than 20 minutes away.The island was probably the most friendliness I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of islands. Everyone smiled and were very kind. We felt very safe anywhere we went.The house and he views are as pictured! Excellent views of the ocean and you can snorkel off the beach. We would do again! "
