"Great location and walking distance to the Capitol, the National Mall, and museums. We got a little goodie bag and drink vouchers for the restaurant."

"Switches for lights are not easy to find, no ice, towels would be more accessible if they were on the shelf on the wall, no microwave, no indoor pool. For the price of the hotel, I was surprised there was no pool and microwave. What was great: food, breakfast and dinner, it’s a clean and quiet place, close to Union train/metro station. "

"This hotel surpassed our expectations. The lobby is grand, breakfast buffet great, all of the staff we encountered friendly and helpful. The room was freshly updated on the top floor. We loved how the gym and indoor pool were in the same area, perfect for active families and supervision. We were able to get into our room four hours early rather than having to store our bags, which made everything really relaxed on our first day in DC. The location was great for an easy walk to the Capitol and the museums, longer walk to the Tidal Basin and monuments. We knew we wouldn't use the car, so we parked in a garage around the corner that was a very good daily rate. We will definitely recommend this spot to friends for future DC stays."

"The French restaurant at the hotel was amazing. All staff at the hotel were super helpful. "

"Starting with check-in, a terrible process. The "key" system sucks. The bathroom had cheap fixtures. The water in the shower had no pressure no matter what time of day. "Luxury?" Nah, the cheap toilet paper eliminates that completely. No towel service; no maid service. In the bedroom, the bed was uncomfortable and the Bucky board squeeked with every motion. The bedroom TV would turn on, on its own. In the dining/living area, the TV volume could not be controlled and there were no stations unless you put your apps on the TV. The paper towels were cheap, the Internet was sporadic and the neighboring rooms were loud. Upstairs was worse with objects being dropped at all hours. The "hotel" is 15 minutes walking from the Metro and somewhat inconvenient in a terrible neighborhood.Then, there's the price. Each day, the price increased substantially from the preceeding day. A REAL RIP-OFF. DO NOT STAY HERE. "
