"We had an amazing visit. The check in was easy and the lady was friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a few extra options compared to the typical continental breakfast. The hotel is decorated in a fun creative way. Recommend."

"This cabin in the woods... was awesome! Curt and Katie were very nice, and we enjoyed getting to know Jessie a little bit too! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from the everyday noise. It's set in absolutely gorgeous woods with spruce, pine, and aspen, and situated in such a way that you have almost complete privacy. Chalk Creek is close enough to provide a constant sound of rushing water, and the metal roof transferred the perfect level of "rain on a tin roof" sound into the living areas. I really can't say enough about this place... it really kinda made my wife and me homesick for the log home I built in Alaska years ago. Respectfully Marc"

"I can't say enough about this beautiful home surrounded by nature. We were in Nathrop for a quick four days of jeeping, shopping and eating. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, probably the best I have experienced in years. We bumped into a bit of rain; otherwise, we would have spent every evening on the decks. Great water pressure, comfy couches for relaxing, and the best location if you are hopping between Salida and BV. It's worth every penny. Truly a luxury home that we treasured!"

"The cabin was a prefect spot to unwind after traveling thru Colorado and Utah before our flight home. The cabin is basic. BUT has everything you need. The Cabin was clean and the views are magnificent. Very quiet spot. We would stay here again if ever back in the area"

"Fantastic views of chalk mountain. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi jets. Upstairs low small toilets were a challenge for tall people with knee problems. Great kitchen and living room. Hot water only showers almost burnt me!"

"We had a lovely stay! The cabin had everything we needed, with beautiful views and plenty of peace and quiet. We brought our teenage son and two dogs, and it was a wonderful getaway for the whole family.The hot tub was phenomenal, especially at night. On a clear evening, the view of the Milky Way from the hot tub was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.Communication was great, and everything went smoothly. We also spent some time fishing for trout at nearby Chalk Lake and had a blast. If you enjoy fishing, bring some butter worms. The trout loved them!Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, and a great place to unplug and enjoy the mountains. We would love to stay here again!"
