2 Storey single family dwelling. The house has four bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms. The amenities: modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer, dryer. The master bedroom and second bedroom both have king size beds. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms have a queen size bed. All bedrooms have flat screen televisions. The family room has a large 60" television. The house is close to the main west Bay Street and about 10 minutes from downtown and is centrally located to Atlantis Paradise Island and the cable beach strip.

We can purchase groceries,soft drinks and alcohol beverages and have them available for guests upon their arrival at the property. This service is only available at the request of the guest/s and it comes with a cost.

A very comfortable stay.

A gem of a location for my family.

A beautiful home with a lovely pool surrounded by a beautiful yard. The house was clean and safe. The kitchen was very user friendly and the beds were comfortable. The pool area had plenty of space in the shade and sun, plus its cleaned twice weekly.The location of the house was nice. Easy walk to a beach, easy to drive to most places. We rented a car, but chose to hire a taxi when going to busier places where the parking would be less likely.Would certainly stay again!

Wonderful home, super close to the beach!

Great place to stay, comfortable, with everything we needed. Ray & Sonja were great and took care of everything! We truly enjoyed our vacation and this house made it perfect! Bring your earplugs as the neighboring homes let their dogs bark all night.

100% as advertised

This property is exactly as advertised. The owners were really great people, and unlike some properties, you actually deal directly with the owners. Happy way between downtown and Baha Mar as well as easy access to the airport and other parts of the island. Security and neighborhood were more than acceptable. We have no problem saying we will stay here on all future visits to Nassau.

Wonderful home in Nassau Bahamas!

We stayed with our family of 9 at Raymond and Sonja’s beautiful home! The house was very spacious and very well stocked for a vrbo. We loved the pool and outdoor deck area. The owners were very quick to reply to any questions we had!

We visited this lovely home for 1 week. Had a couple of issues that were resolved straight away.. 10 mins from cafe/bars etc. Lots of things to use in the villa and loads of beach towels/chairs etc. It's not a modern home but was brilliant for what we needed. Pool area excellent!! Sonja very happy to help - overall excellent stay..

Birthday in the Bahamas

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this beautiful home with Ray and Sonja as our hosts. We love to stay here as it is peaceful, serene, close to everything but away from it all. Spacious home that feels "like home." The hosts make you feel so comfortable, and I thank them again for sharing their time with me and my family.

5 Star family getaway

My adult kids and I had a great experience at this property. It was spacious, clean and safe/secure. The outdoor areas and landscaping are truly beautiful. Pool was perfect for a dip anytime of the day. Lots of towels for the pool and beach which was only a 2 minute walk away. Close to the downtown area and restaurant (even though we took advantage of the kitchen and cooked in a serveral times.)I would recommend to anyone who visits The Bahamas.

Nice large property with good outdoor space and nearly every facility you could want. We had a couple of minor issues, all of which were attended to and resolved the same day by Ray, what more can you ask!

Bahama Vacation May 2023

Wonderful property for families! Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, big dining room table for eating, nice TV seating area. Big plus is wonderful swimming pool. Our two grandkids really enjoyed the pool. Very nice landscaping all around the property. Other plus is close proximity (2 minute walk) to Saunders beach, one of the top beaches on the island. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but families in particular.

Great place to stay in Bahamas

We enjoyed our stay at Ray and Sonya's. The pictures and reviews gave us a good idea of what to expect and we were not disappointed. We rented a car which we found was convenient for getting groceries and exploring. Driving on the "wrong side" of the road became easy after a couple days. We found a great food store on the West side of the island, Solomon's Fresh Market, and it was worth the drive. Overall we are happy with our stay here.

Clean well stocked home

The home was very well kept, good supplies such as water available and very convenient/appreciated. Home was perfect for two families to have their own space in the bedrooms. The foliage around the property was beautiful. Outdoor lighting and safety features appreciated, felt very safe day and night. Sonja and Ray were available at any time we needed anything. Our husbands LOVED the golf that Ray booked for them. Amazing stay!

Superb home!

Outstanding hosts with a beautiful home! Home was very well stocked. Lush fantastic and very well maintained landscaping! Neighborhood was safe. We went on morning and evening walks most days. Very very short walk to the beach where we were able to view evening sunsets. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We would definitely recommend renting a car if feasible as it allows greater opportunity to explore many of the wonderful beaches!

Family trip not our first time to Nassau

Last trip was pre covid and we prefer to rent a house in Nassau as it is easy to get around. Very nice to have a pool, house is equipped with everything and is very nice for larger groups. Nice to be able to walk to the beach. did our usual outings. I was very sad to see since covid they have shut down all public washrooms for beaches as well as they seem to be neglecting clean up of the beaches and public areas. The amount of homeless dogs was also unreal, as they sleep on the beach in the evening. Nassau is a beautiful island and we always enjoy our selves and the people. This is a nice property to stay at

Great family vacation at a great place

We were a family of 6 adults and one infant under 2 years old. Our stay at Sonja and Raymond's house was great. After reading the other guests' reviews I can confirm that they are indeed great hosts. They both went out of their ways to accommodate us. The house was more than spacious; everybody found their favourite spots, be it at the pool or in one of the living rooms. The house is very secure and we always felt safe. Thank you Sonja and Raymond for making our family vacation one to remember forever. Denis V.

Lovely 10 day break

This has got to be one of the best properties we have stayed in. Spacious, close to the beach, easy access to / from the property. Nice pool and outdoor area (including gas BBQ, dining area, covered seating area and 4 lounger beds by the pool. There was some confusion as the listing at the time we booked described the property as being 2 and 4 bedroomed. There are definitely 4 bedrooms - all upstairs (1 en-suite) and of a good standard. Beds really comfortable. KFC, Burger King, off licence and garage nearby. Restaurants / shops a 5-10 minute drive. (Taxi $20 on-way). Supermarket 20 mins drive. Hosts incredibly responsive - we had a couple of small issues which they responded to within minutes. Thanks for taking care of us.

Absolutely the best vacation ever!

Ray and Sonja are super hosts! We had traveled across the US on a red eye and when we arrived were treated to some real coconut 🥥 water with a splash of fun to get our vacation going! The house s everything it says it is! All 4 bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and tons of space. Ray and Sonja always replied quickly with any questions or needs! The pool was very clean and well maintained! The grounds are beautiful and extremely safe! Saunders and Goodmans beach just a short walk away. Thank you 🙏 so much for allowing us to stay in your amazing home! We had so much fun and will be back! Thanks again for recommending Cheryl’s Taxi - we so enjoyed their service! We did not rent a car - Taxi’s only to get around the island! It was a vacation we won’t forget!

Lovely property, especially outdoor space

Very very comfortable. Great bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. Outdoor grill worked great. We enjoyed exploring the island and cooking and relaxing on the premises. Great to have outdoor dining area as well as lounging areas.
