We had a wonderful time in Franklin. We stayed there with another family and it was the perfect size. There was plenty of room to spread out. Everyone loved hanging on the amazing porch. I diffenately would stay here again.

We had a very quick trip to Franklin for a weekend sports tournament. We wish he had more time in the house to take advantage of the amenities and location. We loved the screen porch and very comfy beds. The kitchen was well stocked and there were even two options of coffee makers (Keurig and regular drip). My only recommendation would be to add bedside lamps for those who like to read at night.

Wow, this property was our absolute favorite VRBO experience ever. The house was VERY clean. The sunroom was a perfect place to eat our meals and just hang out. I loved being able to smell the crisp clean air and hear the birds chirping but not actually be outside. The beds were comfortable and clean. They felt better than a nice hotel which is very unusual for a VRBO. We typically stay in very nice hotels when we travel alone (4 seasons Esqe) but with kids we stay at VRBOS so we can have more space. The owners left plenty of Keurig coffee (what a relief) and the checkout instructions were not complicated. We've had awful checkout instructions and it was so nice to be able to easily check out. The area was very quiet and felt extremely safe. It was close to downtown Franklin and the most amazing park for our 6 year old. The neighbor in the guest house behind this house was SO KIND and she had the sweetest dog. Our experience was so good, I think we are going to move to Franklin.
Make sure to read the guide book when you get there. The history of the house sets the mood for really enjoying its eclectic historic vibe. It tells a fun story. I was happy to be part of it!
Thank you Kyle for taking such good care of your VRBO guests!

Staying in this cozy home was incredibly refreshing for my husband and me. The proximity to great restaurants, the quaint walks around the neighborhood, and the comforts of “home” were just a few of the highlights of our stay. It felt like a dream and we will definitely come back.

On our long drive to this property, we were contacted by manager Kyle, who informed us that a 500-year flood had just hit the area the night before. Kyle (who was in California, several time zones earlier than ours) created an alternate plan for us should the property be affected by Franklin’s sewage system challenge. Fortunately, the property—and most of the town—was fine. We found the home to be spacious enough for us four adults and the toddler—and that beautiful screened-in porch came in handy when some of our North Carolina family showed up to surprise us for our 25th anniversary. (They rented a place down the street.) There were two double beds in the third bedroom, and a sofa in the living room, so a larger family would be comfortable as well. The dining room became a playroom and was ample space for the meals on chilly nights. (And our daughter surprised us by hiring a chef for our anniversary dinner—Chef loved the well-laid out and appointed kitchen!)
The bathrooms were nicely updated and the master one quite spacious, and the location was a lovely ten-minute walk from downtown. Pinkerton Park, very close by, was endless fun for the kids and also has a fascinating Civil War earthworks. We were 30 minutes from Lake Radnor and Cheekwood, our favorite destinations, and Nashville is maybe 40 minutes away so day trips were a breeze.
Kyle continued to check in and was always available during our four-day stay. His automated instructions for clean-up were friendly and clear, and he also handled an overpayment promptly. This was our best VRBO experience, and Kyle deserves a sixth star for grace under pressure as he handled the suspense about possible flood damage from across the country. We had a thoroughly enjoyable anniversary celebration—topped off not only by our surprise party, but the news received on that front porch that we will be welcoming a grandson in October!

We enjoyed great family time, staying here, for a family wedding in town. Kyle really thought of every little detail to make the place seem like home away from home.
The screened in porch was a wonderful gathering spot for our crew! We plan to stay here again! One of our favorite spots, so far on VRBO!

Mothers and daughters enjoyed a girl's weekend and had a great time. The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed coffee and a fire on the screened-in porch. House was perfectly equipped with everything we could need and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind...even provided us with a list of restaurants and stores to check out. We loved every minute of our Franklin girl's trip!

8 ladies from across the US met in Nashville to celebrate all 60th birthdays.... we stayed in Franklin and lived the house! Actually, we were pretty much in the screened porch area 90% of the time - although we would have enjoyed a cushion to sit on, the stunning porch was a perfect gathering space. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated that there were plenty of table settings for our meals. Overall, everyone enjoyed their stay!

We had a family gathering and found this rental to be perfect. We loved the charm of staying in a 118 year old updated home close to downtown and historical points of interest. The porch is a bonus and where we spent much of our time.

The house was warm and inviting. The screened in porch was particularly nice. It's a short walk to Franklin which has some wonderful places to eat and tour. The only problem with the house is that it is not wheelchair accessible (unless you can stand and take steps). It's an old house and the master bedroom and bathroom doors are not wide enough to get a wheelchair through. The hall bathroom was usable once we took the door off (the toilet is behind the door). The floor is flat through the majority of the house but there is a large step down into the laundry room and another large step onto the porch and in order to get into the house you have to go across the grass to the front door. They did provide a ramp to get onto the porch that worked very well.

Great location, charming 100+ year old home & town, great for families, spacious enclosed patio with real wood fireplace & dining table; the MOST well-equipped airbnb we've stayed anywhere in the world- I even saw a child step ladder for the guest bathroom sink. Claw-foot tub in master, great A/C & internet.
Many great restaurants (Gray's on Main, Red Pony) & historical sites within a mile, plus some a bit further, including Arrington Vineyards (w/ live jazz & live bluegrass bands on the weekends along with tastings).
VERY communicative, gracious host.
