WILDFLOWER RIDGE LOG CABIN
Nestled in the woods just 12 minutes North East of Nashville and 10 minutes from Brown County State Park, you will find Wildflower Ridge Log Cabin. Close to shopping and adventure, yet you will feel very secluded in this authentic log cabin made of antique logs from a barn of yesteryear.

Upon arrival, you will notice a restful feeling as you drink in nature’s bounty, walking down the path to the front door. Entering the first floor, you will find a cozy living room with a Rumford wood burning fire place, made of Brown County stone. Snuggle up by the fire and watch a movie or just admire the large hand hewn log walls and beams around you.

Off the living room is a large, fully screened, covered porch. What a great place to gather to visit with your loved one. Notice the birds in the nearby trees, who don’t even realize you are right there.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Providing plenty of prep. space on the beautiful oak counter tops. The adjacent dining room has an oak farm table. Maybe you would like to dine by candlelight? Our handmade tin chandelier is equipped with realistic candles, no matches needed.

Follow the stairs to the second floor complete with vaulted ceilings, log beams and skylights in every room. The spacious master bedroom offers a king sized bed, comfy loveseat and antique dressers. Adjacent is a roomy full bath.

Heading downstairs, to the game room, Play a game of pool or head out the back door to the deck.

Dine out on the partially covered deck with charcoal grill and hot tub, overlooking the pond and surrounding woods. At dawn and dusk you may catch a glimpse or more of the deer playing in the edge of the pond- a now daily occurrence.

Swing on the porch swing, wander thru the wildflowers, enjoy a campfire….Come, stay a while, you’ll be glad you did!

Anniversary Get-Away

Excellent location, beautiful home, loved the hot tub, stocked kitchen. Only slight con - could use more lighting in the living room as well as more comfortable furniture. We can’t wait to come back!

Well Needed Getaway

My husband and I stayed at the Wildflower cabin. We really enjoyed everything the cabin had to offer... hot tub, pool table, and frog pond. The pool table and dishwasher could use some maintenance, but overall, the place was perfect!

Dirty

The property has lots of dust and cobwebs. No Air conditioning upstairs in bedroom so it was 80 degrees at the coldest point of the night when it was 65 outside. Half the hot tub has jets and if you have asthma or don’t like wood burning smell I wouldn’t stay here. We will never stay in this cabin again. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 night due to the conditions and just got a hotel. I have demanded a refund from management company but we will see.

Although I believed it was a fair price and loved the cabin…Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. Lightbulbs in fixture above dining table were missing. Couch definitely needs replaced soon. And departure instructions say to double wrap garage but there was no garbage bag. No biggy, just constructive criticism. Thank you for all

Average

I'll start off by saying I have stayed in quite a few cabins in the Eastern part of the country so this is not my first experience. I also do not normally review places I have stayed, this is probably the 5th time I have been prompted to do so. Starting with the good. Nice setting, perfect for fall, authentic older cabin with some newer touches. Nice hot tub, although it could be more private. Adequate kitchen amenities. Now for the not so good. The weekend was rainy, so the usual cloudy overcast conditions. The cabin, especially the first floor is very dark, minimal lighting. The Hot tub, although nice has no covering, can be seen from the road and is located directly below an over flowing gutter. There is a sizeable roof leak on the screened in porch. The TV's are from the eighties, small would be an understatement, maybe 18 inch in the living area and 13 inch in the bedroom. The mattress in the bedroom is best described as a brick, very, very firm. The weather went from warm, high 70's to cool, low in the 30's. The heating system is best described as a challenge to operate with a combination of baseboard heat and a few room units and a wood burning fireplace if you want to include that. Personally when I am on a long "relaxing" weekend I don't want the sometimes difficult encounter of building a fire. This was of course stated in the cabin description. Overall a good place but could use some upgrades and maintenance.

Perfect getaway

We came into Brown Co for a 5k trail run and needed a place to lay our head. This cabin was perfect in every way. It was clean, comfortable, and close to every place we wanted to see. If visiting Nashville, I highly recommend staying here
