This is a fun beach cottage in the quiet, residential neighborhood of 'Eastward Look', just 3 blocks from beautiful Scarborough State Beach! This fully furnished Cape Cod-style home features 2 queen size bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom in between. One of these two bedrooms also has 1 twin bed, along with cable TVs. Ground floor has 1 full size bedroom with cable TV, another full bathroom, dining area and kitchen with a 4 stool breakfast bar (Keurig K-Pod coffee maker) in between, and adjacent living room with a 55" HDTV and DVD player. Central A/C added in 2017, and there are ceiling fans when you want to leave the windows open and hear the ocean at night. Outside, off the dining room, is a big open deck (comfortable late afternoon shaded) with gas grill, 6 chair patio set, Adirondack chairs and small tables, and bench seating for extra guests. Generous backyard (with umbrella picnic table) is big enough for a badminton/volleyball net. Cold water shower on back of house refreshes after hot day at the beach! Off-street parking for up to 4 cars. Tennis and basketball courts on Foster Ln. on the north side of Eastward Look Development. Just bring groceries (there is a Super Stop and Shop near the house) and beach towels. Enjoy all your Summer Fun: beaches, fishing, water sports, restaurants, cookouts, and family gatherings at this popular Cape Cod style home!

Things to do: The most beautiful beaches in R.I. are all nearby, one within walking distance. Scarborough State Beach (with full bath house facilities, food pavilions, boardwalk, and picnic areas) is right down the road and within walking distance. You can walk to this beach along the main road (Burnside Ave.) and access beach at the north pavilion and boardwalk, or you can take a quieter route by accessing the right of way on Glendale Rd./Greene Lane (3 streets over from Kingston Lane in the development) which takes you over to Angell Rd. and then a straight shot down to the beach and boardwalk and the south pavilion. Beach caddie and a wagon are provided to carry your chairs and beach supplies. There is no fee to walk on to this beach, fee for parking only. Enjoy swimming, sunning, surfing, sailing, boating, boogie boarding, skim boarding, surf fishing, charter boat fishing, sail boarding, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, rollerblading, harbor tours, sightseeing cruises, sunset cruises, golfing, hiking, biking, antique hunting, or bird watching. Great seafood restaurants are everywhere. Beautiful paved bike path from Narragansett Pier all the way to Historic Kingston Railway Depot. There are seafood festivals, art shows, and free weekly outdoor concerts all summer. Weekly movies on the town beach with food trucks in the parking lot. Visit Canonchet Farm Historic Village and museum. Buy fresh lobster right off the lobster boats in the fishing village of Point Judith. Live music nightly at The Bon Vue Inn, George's of Gallilee, Narragansett Café, and many restaurants around town.
Take the ferry from Point Judith to Block Island for a fun day trip that can include shopping and restaurants, biking around the island, renting mopeds and exploring lighthouses, horseback riding, hiking in the glades, or just relaxing at the beautiful beaches with their crystal clear waters.
Check out Roger Wheeler State Beach, Salty Brine State Beach, East Matunuck State Beach, and Misquamicutt State Beach, all nearby. Theatre By The Sea is a wonderful old playhouse/restaurant in Matunuck that has great shows all summer long, with both adult and children performances.
Westerly and Watch Hill are fun shopping, dining, and sight seeing towns just to the south of Narragansett.
Newport is just a short ride away, with the America's Cup World Series Races, helicopter sightseeing, lighthouse sightseeing cruises, mansion tours, kite flying at Bretton Point Park, colonial Fort Adams State Park with music festivals, the famous Cliff Walk along Mansion Row, shopping and restaurants in downtown, Newport Playhouse Dinner Theatre, several wine vineyards, Polo matches and events, or rent Segways and cruise around on a guided tour by knowledgeable docents.

Attractions & Ideas: Chamber of Commerce Visitor's Center 36 Ocean Rd.,. Windsurfers and sailboarders love the Point Judith Lighthouse (5 min. drive) where the conditions are perfect. Surfers flock to Narragansett Pier and Town Beach. For a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean try 'the deck' at The Coast Guard House Restaurant (they also have a great Sunday Brunch). Other great restaurants to try: Matunuck Oyster Bar, Spain, Trio, Crazy Burger, Monahans Clam Shack, The Twin Willows, Jim's Dock, Mariner Grille, Arturo Joe's, Chair 5, T's Restaurant, PJ's Pub, Buster Krabs, Aunt Carrie's, Iggy's Doughboys & Chowder House, Champlin's Seafood, New Dragon, Two Ten Oyster Bar and Grill, Chophouse Grille, Trattoria Romana, Mews Tavern, Phil's Restaurant, Cap'n Jacks, Pasquale's Pizzeria Napolitano (the BEST pizza), Cantina Del Rio, Luk Thai, and many more! Bike or roller blade the scenic Bike Path from Old Wakefield to Kingston Train Station. Try 18 holes at a some of the nicest public golf courses in R.I.: Meadowbrook, Richmond Country Club, Exeter Country Club, or Newport National. Visit historic and scenic Jamestown (Narragansett Cafe for live bands and dancing Thursday thru Sunday, with Bloody Marys and Blues on Sunday afternoon a local favorite), and Newport(cobblestone street shopping, mansion tours, The Cliffwalk, Fort Adams, and the Inn at Castle Hill are 'must see'). What's Nearby: Just a short walk to Scarboro State Beach. Short 5 min. drive to Sand Hill Cove Beach, Narragansett Pier Beach and Casino Towers, and the quaint fishing Village of Gallilee. Take a ferry over to beautiful Block Island from Gallilee. Historic and scenic Jamestown and Newport are a short ride and a can't miss.
