"We had a suite outside the main pub which was clean and spacious. Ideal location for seeing the castle. Evening meal and breakfast excellent and so a very enjoyable B&B"

"Arrived and the staff were very busy, so had to wait 15 minutes to check in. The menu wasn't to our liking, and the pub part was OK to sit in for a one night stay, but we needed a more comfortable seating arrangement to relax in. The hotel itself and staff were fab, the location too."

"Staff were outstanding, so polite and helpful. We had the early bird evening meal, which was beautiful and very reasonable in price. We stayed in a woodland escape cabin with a hot tub. It was clean and well dressed. Hot tub was preheated with fresh water. Will 100% be staying again."

"Stayed one night in order to see a gig in Bangor. Everything was great, very friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner before we left for the show. Food very good for the dinner as was breakfast. Clowie organised a taxi for us into Bangor, all went like clockwork. Nice car area for when we returned."

"All staff were helpful and friendly. The Courtyard room was very quiet, beds were a bit hard for our liking ( but that’s down to personal preference). Bath towels were big and very fluffy. The hot water was very hot. Toilet paper was of inferior quality. The breakfast had a good options choice, however, dinner menu choice was a bit restricted ( check the web site so you know in advance) but if staying for a 3-4 day break then it would be more than adequate."
