The staff was super friendly and the concierge even gave us advice where to go for sightseeing. The furniture in the room is a little dated but that wasn't a big deal for me. "This is my second time staying at Forza Kyoto. Loved the location, it is located on the main shopping street. They now do self check-in, which was a little weird because there were available staff, so I thought service could be a little better. Not all rooms have a separate shower and bath area."

"Love this place. It is very clean and modern yet still very Japanese. The staff is friendly and helpful and there are restaurants on the premise if you don't want to go out. The only downside is the infrequency of the commuter rail, but that's out of the hotel's control. Just FYI"
