"Great location. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Onsen is excellent. Lots of good restaurants close by.
Very nice decoration of the hotel and fun programmes (shows and kids activities etc).
My only complain was the parking, 1000yen per night was a little expensive."
"A hotel well positioned to visit Iya Valley’s places of interests like the vines bridges (single and double ones), the River Cruise, The Koboke Observation deck and the small peeing monk, etc… There are also many good local F&B.
The Kaiseki is good and the morning breakfast is local and fresh.
The Onsen is also functional and has both the indoor and outdoor hot pools."
"Very dated and needs serious lick of paint and modernisation, remote location so unless you have a car looking at paying £40 per head for dinner buffet which was decent enough, breakfast was okay and free lounge with drinks nice touch but gives faulty towers vibes."
"The room size and breakfast selection are on par for a budget hotel, but it is very clean and stylish. It is a bit of a walk from the station, but there is also a tram running along the main street that you can take. It is located right next to a cluster of restaurants, many specializing in local cuisine. Many convenience stores located nearby as well."
