"This place is located just outside the penzance railway station. Restaurants, pubs, Tesco, co-op and the very important bus stop is located in a very close proximity and makes it the perfect place to stay. The owners are very friendly. The breakfast they made was very good."

"I couldn't have asked for more from the accomodation and the host. It was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, with pool (with more facilities I am told due to be built) and delicious breakfast. Breakfast is so good I can eat here every meal. Hosts were very friendly and attentive, and amazing chef! Not in centre of town, but this is more than an ordinary B&B so ideal if you intend to just stay here and chill during your stay "

"Liked the style and comfort of the old house. Exceptionally good breakfast. Pleasant welcome. Convenient for Minack Theatre and other local attractions. One thing to be aware is that bedroom 1 is not en suite, although the separate bathroom is super."

"Beautifully decorated old building with lovely view of the sea from the dining room. Very close to the Promenade. Excellent food in the restaurant. Wonderful hairdresser and massage therapist businesses located in building. Friendly very helpful staff. Dog friendly. I had a wonderful relaxing time there and will return. "

"Enjoyed our stay at Penmere. The staff were very friendly and helpful - shout out for Jamie! Spacious, comfortable room, powerful shower, clean. Good choice on breakfast buffet that was continuously replenished. Food ordered from breakfast menu was slow to come out. Would certainly stay again."

Good value for money, close to town

"A well supported establishment by locals. Its too far from the sea front for tourist to come and find. But easily within 10 minutes for you to walk down to the promenade. Or a couple of minutes further for you to walk straight along the road into the centre of town where the shops are. Everything in the room worked, there was a full sized fridge if you needed to use it. Decent supply of tea and coffee. The room could do with a bit of a freshen up , But its a very old building, your never going to make it look like a premier inn. Locals were friendly. Ample size flat carpark with Cameras. You can use carpark for overnight camper stops for free if you use the pub. Lovely large Beer garden. Entertainment on some weekends on the stage outside. There is a large covered area, just in case. Childs play are too. Young lad behind bar with a beard was particularly helpful O and the home made steak and ale pie was excellent. A proper pie, not a tin with a lid on."
