"I've stayed here before and I knew how appropriate this hotel was for me. Staff 100%. Meal options excellent. WOTIF? Not so good. Two amounts were taken from my account. You can only contact Wotif by email or chat. Waiting time ok compared to banks and internet providers but the chat itself was disruptive. I had to upload proof of the double dipping to my bank account and the chat upload wouldn't accept the upload despite being around 186k. Very frustrating to the chat agent and myself. Several attempts over 15-20 minutes meant the chat dropped out due to my failed responses. I phoned Mercure who rightly said they couldn't assist but they only had one booking. "

"Great location and lovely property! We enjoyed walking around it while there! Check in was great. We got there early and were just asking if we could drop our bags but the room was ready! That was a wonderful start to our stay! Staff very polite and friendly. Room was light and bright. Very clean and comfortable. Really appreciated the cutlery after a local eatery forgot to add some to my order! Would definitely stay here again! "
