"Great views from restaurant and bar; great sunrise/sunset spots; nice pool area; really nice streams everywhere; breakfast nice but some more vegetarian options would be nice; coffee and plate clear up at breakfast should be improved; arrival and check-in could be more welcoming; bird watching promoted but no official guide available; bird species booklets expensive; trekking guide spoke no english and was not helpful at all for the price"

"No one, even on reception, spoke English, so communication was difficult. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was poor, the food lukewarm and had been standing a long time. There were few, if any, other visitors, and we did not speak to anyone during our stay. There was a spa, massage and restaurant advertised, but no sign of these. The location was just outside the centre, but easy walking distance."

"Mr. Wan und sein Team sind einfach Toll. Es wird sich um alles gekümmert. Das Essen und die Getränke haben landestypische Preise. Kein Aufschlag weil es drumrum keine Alternativen gibt. Und die Portionen sind groß. Das allerbeste aber ist die Aussicht auf dem kleinen Balkon vom Chalet aus. 2 Stühle ein Tisch das reicht völlig. Es ist alles vorhanden. Toilette, Handwaschbecken, heiße Dusche und 2 normalgroße 2x1 mtr. Matratzen. Die Aussicht gibt es so nicht noch einmal. Der Wahnsinn....

"Staying here in Nong Khiaw, on the river, enjoying the spectacular scenery from my balcony, I felt peaceful and very well taken care of by the wonderful staff. If I go back to Nong Khiaw, I would only stay here. The family in charge, did everything they could to make my stay exceed my expectations. Sieu was a wonderful cook and the food at this hotel was better than anything I found in town. They had kayaks and paddleboardd right down below on the water. They did laundry incredibly fast....
