"It was convenient to places and transportation. The room was very small for two people,much smaller than the photo pictured here. There wasn’t room to keep a suitcase open, which was needed since there was no dresser for clothes, only pegs and hangers on the wall. There was a frig, microwave and tea pot. "I’ve stayed here many times and it has been great because of the staff. Now they’ve renovated, the rooms are better and more inviting. The location is ideal and I always enjoy my stay at Amado!"

"The staff are great and helpful. The hotel is perfectly fine, just a bit shabby/dated (but fine for the price point) - except for the very cool, very modern sauna on the lower floor! It’s extremely well designed, brand new, and no one was using it when I was there which was nice. Location is walkable to Old Town and there is a funky and cool neighborhood park across the street as well as the Maritime Museum. Breakfast was good. Parking for the hotel was super easy and available right next door...

"The hotel itself represents beautiful 1970s architecture. Unfortunately, the hotel is in very bad condition. The rooms are in original condition. Beds extremely uncomfortable. No aircon. Food in restaurant and during breakfast was disgusting."
