"It was very clean. A little dated but clean. Continental breakfast needs some work. Value was great. The pictures under property description makes you think its on the water with docks. Its not on the water, your blocks away from the bay. A little misleading. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I would stay again.

"Excellent vacation rental. Well stocked for all your needs (cooking to entertainment). Short drive to sand beaches and boat launch. Water at rental was rocky, need to wear water shoes which are provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also a great addition to the rental property.Amy was an excellent host, checking on us making sure we are having a great vacation. If you are looking for a northern Michigan bay summer vacation, I recommend."

Waterfront Modernized Rustic Log Cabin on Indian Lake, Manistique, MI
10/10 Excellent
"We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin. I grew up in the atea and am very familiar with the location, so although I had never been back by this group of cabins before, I knew the general location would be wonderful to stay in. The view is gorgeous here, especially the sunsets. The water is super shallow and my kids loved walking out as far as they could. They also loved playing in the sand on the beach. We had unfortunate timing that coincided with mayfly season (for anyone unfamiliar, you will generally get that around mid-to-late-June) so that was one downside - but certainly no fault of the host’s! Just something to be aware of for anyone staying around that timeframe. We still enjoyed the fire pit and some of the outdoor amenities like bean bag toss. The cabin itself is very rustic but also very charming. The bedrooms don’t have doors, just curtains. So that’s something to be aware of, especially if you have kids that go to bed earlier than you. We had to be extra quiet and keep the lights low so as not to wake them. We were also thankful to have read in one of the reviews the recommendation to bring an extension cord for one of the bedrooms, as it didn’t have any outlets (that we could see). So we came prepared for that and were able to still have the kids’ electronic devices charging in there with them. There were some dead bugs and cobwebs in the window sills, but it wasn’t very bothersome for us.Overall we had what we needed, and it was a very enjoyable stay!"
