Hotel New Otani Makuhari

"Everything about this hotel was First Class. My corner room on the 19th floor had a fabulous view looking at the harbor. The Chinese Restaurant was excellent and the pastries at Satsuki were fresh baked daily and some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My only disappointment was their beautiful pool was not included. It was ¥3300 for a daily pass, and the golf range another ¥2200. That said, the room rates were reasonable. The only caveat is you’ll need to taxi or take the train to see other parts of Chiba because there’s not a lot to see within walking distance, just the neighboring Apa Hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in this area."

"We booked this hotel for the airport shuttle which was super convenient. Disney sea was super close but not close at all to central Tokyo. I wouldn’t stay here if I wanted to explore Tokyo but we only had one full day here and it was fine for that."

"Everything was like the pictures. It’s quite basically all day so it makes for a great place to come back to after being out all day. The reception nice and able to help us whenever we needed help. Only nine minutes away from the station so it made it easy to get to places."
