Two wonderful weeks in Greece

Nikolas was very kind to us! We werw very late because pur luggage was no there at the airport in Athens. Nervertheless we had a great welcome by Nikolas. We enjoyed our stay, nade visits to Mykene, Epidauros and so on. But we also visited the town enjoyed the markets. the resttaurants and even the beach. On the other hand we hat beautiful evenings in the house, we were able to prepare beautiful meals in the fully eqipped kitchen. Thank You Nikolas

Comfortable and spacious house but located 4km east of Nafplio (in Aria)

Firstly, this house was advertised on Vrbo’s map as being located within Nafplio city centre. Indeed, the title of the listing generated by Vrbo calls it ‘Nafplio City Centre’. We arrived at the house surprised to find it located directly on a busy street some 4km east of the city. Traffic can be heard from inside the house. Vrbo were completely unsympathetic to this problem and argued that “4km is not too bad”, offering no compensation or assistance. As we had entirely based the decision to take this apartment on the fact we would have been able to walk from it to the nearby climbing areas, as well as historic old town, this is unacceptable. No alternative accommodation was available and the host did not offer compensation even though it is their responsibility to ensure accuracy. Despite this massive disappointment and feeling of being ripped off, the house itself is spacious, modern and warm, with two bathrooms, washing machine, good beds and a well stocked kitchen. I hope that Vrbo and the host improve their accuracy to avoid future disappointments.

Grand appartement bien situé à Nauplie

Globalement un bon séjour. Bon accueil du propriétaire sympathique. L'appartement est grand (3 chambres, 2 salles de bain, un grand salon etc), pratique pour une famille avec de jeunes adultes. Très bien situé à 2 pas du centre ville de Nauplie. On peut faire les visites et promenades en ville sans utiliser la voiture. Contrairement à d'autres locataires, nous n'avons oas eu de problèmes avec le chien du propriétaire qui est très affectueux et adorable ( il y a une séparation dans l'entrée). Seul bémol pas d'accès au patio en photo sur le site car c'est la partie propriétaire , il y a par contre un balcon qui fait le tour de l'appartement, le devant donne sur la route mais derrière c'est plus calme, une petite table et deux chaises sont installées. Enfin l'ensemble de l'appartement est un peu vieillot et certains équipements anciens.

Angeboten wird ein freistehendes Haus mit Garten. Tatsächlich handelt es sich jedoch nur um eine Wohnung über einem Ladengeschäft. Das auf den Bildern gezeigte Haus und der Garten werden vom Eigentümer selbst bewohnt und ist nicht das zu mietende Objekt. Der Eigentümer hält einen Rottweiler als Wachhund, der auch auf dem Gang zur Wohnung frei läuft. Das war uns vorher nicht bekannt. Der Hund hat den Zugang zur Wohnung und zum Grundstück bewacht und uns eines Abends bei der Heimkehr angesprungen. Das war für uns und insbesondere für unsere Kinder bedrohlich. Darauf hingewiesen hat der Eigentümer dann dafür gesorgt, dass der Hund keinen Zugang zum Weg in die Wohnung mehr hatte. Eine Entschuldigung erfolgte nicht, nur der Hinweis, das sei doch nur eine Kleinigkeit. Die Wohnung selbst ist technisch und vom Pflegezustand her vernachlässigt. Wir fühlen uns getäuscht, da wir gezielt ein Haus mit Garten gesucht haben und hier nur eine Wohnung antrafen, ohne die Möglichkeit z. B. draußen essen zu können. Wir halten es für unverantwortlich, Mieter nicht vorab auf die Anwesenheit eines so großen Wachhundes hinzuweisen. Der schlechte pflegerische Zustand sei hier nur der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnt, gravierend war für uns die Tatsache, statt des gebuchten Hauses nur eine Wohnung vorzufinden und die Situation mit dem Hund. Wir haben uns so getäuscht und unwohl gefühlt, dass wir nach 5 von 10 gebuchten Tagen abgereist sind.

Άνετοι χώροι, που εξασφάλιζαν στους επισκέπτες άνεση και ξεκούραση. Ευγενικοί και διακριτικοί ιδιοκτήτες. Καθαριότητα ικανοποιητική. Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται στο κέντρο του Ναυπλίου προσφέροντας στον επισκέπτη την δυνατότητα γνωριμίας της πόλης με τα πόδια.
