Great Affordable Stay

Highly suggest bamboo backpackers. Tex, Mary and all of the staff are exceptionally hospitable and friendly, room was very clean. Make sure you go to Kava time and enjoy the kava! And take the fijian cooking class, Excellent spot to stay! Also, please don't touch my papayas.

Great friendly staff. Pod room is ok, pods are great. Needs a small shelf in the pod. Wifi could be better. Add microwave to the kettle they already have. It's always kava time at the bamboo and everyone is welcome.

This backpackers was a great budget-friendly find—close to other resorts and right near a beachside club with a fun live band most nights. The staff were really friendly, and I appreciated the reasonably priced private room, which was simple but comfortable for what I needed. I did come across one large cockroach in my room, which wasn’t ideal, but not uncommon in tropical areas. On the upside, the friendly dogs around the property and the easygoing vibe with other backpackers made it feel very welcoming and social. There were also taxis readily available right outside the venue. A solid choice for travelers who want a chill, affordable stay in a great location.

Great place to meet people and stay in Nadi to know the town( couple of days is fine). The wailoaloa beach doesn't represents what Fiji has to offer regarding beaches and islands. The facility are good and the staff surper friendly.

Good budget option for a stay in Nadi. The facilities are generally clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly as well. You‘ll find some restaurants and a supermarker in the area. Unfortunately, they still had an issue with bed bugs and offered us a new room which was not occupied by the animals. They took immediate action but with guests changing daily they should check their beds more regularly.

Bamboo has a bad case of bed bugs! I heard about it before I stayed, checked the bed and stayed anyway, and am covered in welts after 1 night. It was loud, people will be singing and talking loudly outside your room out all night. Awful. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. Friendly reception staff though. Cash only, be prepared.

We stayed here on our last night in fiji as it was super close to the airport. We had a double room which was just a bed and a shower and toilet, everything we needed just for the one night. The staff were nice and friendly our room was clean and tidy the only thing that let this place down was the noise at night time. Across the road from the backpackers was a pub which on the night we stayed had a band playing. Between the noise from the music and the constant barking of dogs there was little sleep had. We understand this is out of the control of the property but worth noting if you plan on staying here to atleast have some earplugs. There was also no shared kitchen area to make food or hot drinks if you needed. Nothing supplied in room either.

We had a private room with bathroom. The room was clean with lots of space and a ceiling fan. Dorms are also available. Our room was basic but what you would expect for budget accommodation. The manager Nicky was always available to answer any questions or help with travel plans. The beach, restaurants & bars are all a short walk away. If you are looking for budget accommodation near the Nadi airport then Bamboo Backpackers will be a good choice.
