"Loved my stay here! Great for pets and a perfect cottage. Clean and quiet property nestled in the piney woods. Host was quick to respond to questions or requests. Loved the remote location and road/trail to walk my dogs. We also witnessed amazing sunrises. I will be back !"

"We had the best time this week! The house was spacious enough for 4 teens and 2 adults, super clean, stocked with things we didn’t even know we might need, and a short walk to the water. It rained a couple of the days we were there but it was still peaceful to watch the rain out of the huge windows! I usually prefer to stay overlooking the water but this was close enough! We had the whole beach area to ourselves!"

"Cottage is in a nice little subdivision on Sam Rayburn Lake. The subdivision had its own boat ramp which was very convenient. The cottage has everything you need for cooking up your favorite meal. Gas grill would be an added bonus. 3 comfortable queen beds. Not a far drive to Boykin Springs for a nice hike, then a swim in the lake which is fed by cold springs. Easy drive to Lufkin if more dining options are required. Brookshire Brothers store in Zavalla is close by. Brought our SeaDoo with us...

"This was the perfect place to stay for the weekend of our daughter's wedding. The home is spacious and allowed us space to have some family over to visit, but also space to spread out and enjoy quiet in the midst of a busy weekend.
