"I have never have stayed right on the beach. With this vrbo, we did. Omar, the caretaker, was awesome. If we had any concerns, he was there to help us. It felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. It was also a nice touch to have a mini-tent set up to keep us in the shade. This came in handy with Costa Rican hot sun. Would definitely return."

"I enjoyed my stay here. A short ways from town, a quiet location and clean accommodations. I believe that most all listings in the travel apps need much improvement on ease of actual property locations. Pictures of key locks and location of actual unit need to be posted more clearly. Possibly an information letter to greet guests with community information. Contact information, etc. Overall, this unit was very nice!"

"Centrally located property. The beach is three blocks away. The staff are friendly and helpful. They texted us immediately after our arrival for help us locate the property. There’s security at the gate. It was quiet and peaceful. My only issue was not having running water for 30 mins. "

"The cover photo is misleading, it is "ocean view" not "ocean front" property. Nice safe gated property with good walking paths and very nice pools. Small but well equipped kitchen, hot water shower and comfortable beds"

"Wonderful unit in a private area at the back of Las Palmas. Bottom level makes it feel even bigger with both a front and rear patio to relax on. Short walk to beach, town and all amenities you need. Nice pool to hang out at during the day. Will be keeping this on the to return to list."

"Positives are, location, neighborhood, secure, and location as pictured. Beach Coffee shops and restaurants were light walks thru safe neighbor hoods. Directions to the property should not only include pictures but distances between pictures in case you can’t recognize, as I struggled with because I was arriving in the dark. Also, a bath towel should not feel like a shammy."

"Nice Condo. Double and queen bed rather then 2 queen beds as advertised . Master bath was large but shower leaked. Second bathroom had an unusually high sink with old taps. Uncomfortable living room furniture. Fabulous large porch area. Nicely equipped kitchen. Small briquette bbq. Was more expensive than other more modern condo units with no discount for 1 month say. Beautiful pool area with 360 view of Coco. Safe area and security over night. Short 10 minute walk to many restaurants, downtown...

"My family and I had a great stay in the condo. Some suggestions are to replace all bath towels , they were stiff and dingy even after washing. One towel tore when I husband used it to dry off. Master bed is on the hard side. Great view and walking is doable not most places it a rental car helped to travel to more places."

Bed was comfortable. A/C was quiet and worked well. Internet worked well. Local market had everything we needed, just expensive. Good variety of restaurants on the beach, not busy, good food. "Potrero Bay is truly a gem. This area is authentic Costa Rica with the bonus of Villa Elysian, a modern and manicured property, popped in the middle of paradise.
