"This hotel felt very luxurious for what we paid to stay here. Staff was great and the bed was very comfortable. Location across from the subway station was very convenient. There were several good restaurants within a few blocks too!"

"The hotel was great - very clean, nice rooms, delicious pastries and sweets in the lobby. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Lee and Ishii. Hotel was also a 2-minute walk from the central garden and not far from other things as well. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Amazing room, the location is a little bit of a longer walk to the busier tourist areas of Kyoto but this makes the atmosphere more quiet and relaxing! Beautiful hotel!"

"This hotel is incredibly affordable, and the staff is very friendly. I needed to see a doctor and the staff helped me locate a proper clinic and schedule and appointment (my phone didn’t work). Great sized rooms, kind of a remote location. Only thing I was annoyed with was a unexpected ‘service fee’ I was charged on arrival (250 yen each day)"

"Perfect hotel with friendly staff, AC was working fine, breakfast was not included in our booking but we were able to pay on the spot and use it. The hotel has 2 washing machines on the perimeter and 2 dryers, it was very useful (although sometimes there was a line of people waiting, try to avoid late evenings if you want to wash your clothes). The staff helped us to reserve a package, that was send from another hotel. Very accommodative."
