"This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!"

"Lovely place tucked back in the vibrant green. This was the perfect place to end the day after exploring the island, very comfortable with every amenity that you need. We were able to pick up some food from the local market for breakfast, and we ate at Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant both nights we were there, it was so good. "After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area."

"Barbara and her staff are absolutely the kindest people on earth! Their description of their ranch is exactly as they say. We got to live with nature but all the elements of a very upscale ranch. It was holistic, peaceful and nurturing for the soul. This is NOT a place for people looking for a pedicure. This is a place for healing and time within and reflection. My husband says it’s “simple and spiritual.” We have backpacked and hiked all over the islands and this place was such a gem to us. More like the hippie oasis and soul searchers retreat. "
